For sale here is a Hardy Uniqua 3 1/2" wide drum reel with original box, both in amazing collector condition. RHW, MKII check, much of the lacquer remaining on the surface of the reel and nearly full leading. The reel is in excellent+++ condition, both cosmetically and mechanically. No line grooves. The original ebonite handle spins freely as it should. The springs are nice and tight. Gear teeth and dual pawls are in great shape with very sharp points. The original ribbed brass reel foot is perfect. No wobble and no end play which is quite rare in these old Uniquas. Telephone latch functions as it should. Comes with its original Hardy box in fantastic condition with preserved label.

This reel was sold in the 1950's by Wallace Doak, the famous fly tyer from New Brunswick, Canada.
