For sale here is a beautiful Payne Model 204 bamboo rod -- 8'6 3/2 5 wt weighing 4 3/4 oz. Rod is in near mint original condition and also does not appear to have been fished much at all. All sections are full length and straight. All of the hardware is blued and in superb cosmetic condition. Blued cap and ring over a gorgeous and un-marred spanish cedar insert. Chestnut brown thread wraps with black trim with maroon edges at the hook keeper and male ferrules. Includes replacement bag but the hang tag still exists? Looks to be an original unlabeled Payne tube. You may look a very long time to find another desirable Payne trout rod in this condition!
