For sale here is a Hardy St. George 3 inch fly reel with three-screw latch from the late 1920s / early 1930s. All original and in good condition. The finish is mostly worn off but it retains a pleasant look. Original length ribbed brass foot and duplicated MKII check. The reel has a bit of "spool rock" so it's not the tightest example but it's still a very fishable reel. No cracks, dings or chips. Dark brown unblemished agate line guide. Wonderful condition ebonite handle spins freely. Tension regulator works as intended. Nice strong check throughout its range.
