The Hearts Collection 1993 (Casks: No. 413487 to No. 413499 - 3600 bottles in all) has a congeners content of 1456 g/100 LAA; it opens with aromas of nutmeg and cinnamon, mixed with notes of mint, caramel, toasted oak and vanilla.

Appleton Hearts Collection is the now legendary limited edition range of 100% pot still single marks, selected by Luca Gargano and Joy Spence, Appleton Estate's historic Master Blender. This is a world first that has been a cult object among collectors worldwide since 2020, the year of the first releases. The rums that make up this exclusive series are the first 100% pot still and vintage single mark rums ever released by Appleton Estate.

The 100% pot still distillation, cutting off the heads and tails, allows only the heart of the distillate to remain.

After the 1994, 1995, 1999, 1984 and 2003 vintages, it is time for the 1993 and 2002 releases.

Each of these rums has been carefully selected, and embodies the excellence of Appleton Estate. The 1993 (29-year-old) and 2002 (20-year-old) vintages were selected from 13 and 20 barrels respectively, chosen from the nearly 200 000 barrels that age at Appleton Estate.
