Sensational early 70s burnout velvet maxi dress! The fabric is a sheer black chiffon (no tags, so best guess) with burnout velvet floral design, in red, yellow, orange and green. Flowers grow larger, like a border print at the hem and on the sleeves too, very pretty! Bodice has a cowl neck, fitted bust darts and an empire waist. Half sleeves are gathered on at the shoulder and bell out to the hem. Dress flares slightly out to hem and can be considered either midi or maxi, depending on your height. See measurements. 21" zipper and two snaps at neck, in back.
