A vintage work apron from the Canadian company Domtar (short for 'dominion tar'). The text on the apron says:
"Domtar Construction Materials Ltd.
Stevensville Planing Mill Ltd.
Lumber & Builders Supplies
Tel: 382-3181"
Stevensville Planing Mill was a lumber mill in Ontario, Canada.
The apron has a pocket at the front divided in 4 different sections, with a strap at one end for holding a tool. There are metal grommets on either side of the top to lace a piece of string through in order to tie it around your waist.
We have three available, all pictured.
A) Has shoelace type string attached to a grommet, as well as a length of cotton ribbon in the pocket. The tool strap needs to be re-sewn (240119)
B) Has length of cotton ribbon in the pocket (240121)- this one is in the best condition of the three.
C) Has length of cotton ribbon in the pocket. Tool strap is partly loose. (240120)
COLOUR: Beige with black, mustard yellow and red print.
FABRIC: Cotton canvas
MEASUREMENTS: 19 x 12.5 in.
