Gaskets and clamps are not included with this unit. You'll need to source OEM gaskets that match your vehicle's exhaust flanges and exhaust clamps rated for high heat. Check your service manual for the correct part numbers and torque specs.

Will this pass an emissions test?

This converter is EPA-compliant and designed to restore catalytic function for emissions testing. Proper installation and a functioning oxygen sensor upstream are required for the system to perform as engineered.

Can I install this myself with basic tools?

You'll need a jack, jack stands, a wrench set, and gasket scraper at minimum. Some vehicles require exhaust system removal from below; others allow top-down access. Jack safety is critical—always use proper support. If you're unfamiliar with exhaust work, have a shop handle the install.
