It mounts at factory points — no drilling required. You'll bolt it where the factory attachment hardware already sits.

Does the black finish need to be prepped or painted before I install it?

No prep needed. The powder coat is ready to mount as-is. If you want a different color down the road, standard automotive paint works fine over it.

What hardware comes with this, and what do I need to source myself?

The bull bar assembly is included. Verify mounting hardware with your dealer parts diagram or contact support with your VIN — some trucks use OEM hardware you may already have on hand.
