This truly mesmerising 1960's dress, rendered in vibrant shades of raspberry pink, with a printed rose pattern on a silk organza overlay, is the perfect statement piece for your vintage collection.  

The V shaped cross-over neckline of the dress is framed by a wide shawl collar, which radiates along the simple shoulder line, whilst the over-layer of the collar draws in along the waistline. The full length inset sleeves boast ballon cuts, which draw in along the base of the turned up cuffs in small gathered pleats. The elegant fitted bodice, boasts tailored darts that run from the waistline to beneath the bust-line. The cinched in waistline is set off by a wide matching fabric belt, which draws in beneath a matching fabric buckle. The wonderful full circle cut of the skirt, radiates from slim gathered pleats along the waist seam, setting off the shorter length of the skirt, and completing this dress in an iconic and timeless silhouette. The skirt of the dress is lined in a later of tulle, above a pink nylon lining.

Condition: This dress is in near perfect vintage condition, with a small seam mend along the left hand side sleeve seam, where the silk organza has been re-stitched. This Minor repair is in no way apparent when the dress is being worn. Please refer to the photographs, as they form part of the condition report. 

Fastenings: This dress fastens at the back with a 19 inch plastic zip and a hook and loop along the nape. 

Washing instructions: This garment should be dry cleaned or hand washed in cool water.
