Designed by Phoebe Philo for Céline and debuted in the Fall 15 collection, the 'trotteur' is a modern take on the traditional saddle bag that, during her iconic reign at the house, became a street style favourite. The 'trotteur' has an adjustable leather strap and can be worn crossbody or on the shoulder. It opens to an inner zipped pocket and four credit card slots, and it has a flat external pocket on the back. The most notable feature of this bag style is the gold tone hardware on its flap closure, which slides into a chevron leather holder. Overall, the 'trotteur' is simple, unfussy, and elegant: the embodiment of 'Old Céline' style.
