The Oval Style Tree Swing by The Original Tree Swing company is just what the name describes; an old-fashioned rope swing, simple yet beautiful. Hand made from reclaimed Ash, each seat is kiln dried, sanded and finished to help protect it from the elements and bring out the woods natural beauty. The seat is then packaged with ¾” light brown polypropylene rope. Our swings are designed to blend in with their natural surroundings and compliment landscaping. Children will spend hours playing on their Swing and build memories that will last a lifetime.

Longer Rope: Please contact us if you don’t see the length you need and we will set up a custom order for you. 

Size & Materials: Our swing seats are made from Ash, which is an incredibly strong and durable wood. Swing seats measure 18” long, 8" wide, and a sturdy 1 1/2"thick. Our rope is ¾” diameter light brown polypropylene. This rope is smooth to the touch, shrink, stretch, rot, UV resistant and just generally looks and holds up better than sisal or manila rope. 

Care:

Our Classic Oval Swing comes finished with a coat of Thompson’s Weather Sealer.  We recommend adding an additional coat each spring & fall to help protect your swing from the elements.

Our White, Dark Brown, and Black Oval Swing comes finished with a coat of water proofing wood stain and a coat of spar urethane.  We recommend adding additional coats as necessary to protect the wood.
