Ysaye (1858-1931)
Description:
In the tradition of the Franco-Belgian school of music, Noe Inui! Noe Inui, born in Brussels, Belgium in 1985 to a Belgian mother and Japanese father, is an up-and-coming violinist who combines European and Japanese traditions and culture.Noé Inui, who studied violin with Jacques Dupleix and Veronique Bogart at the Academy of Music and the Royal Conservatory of Music in Brussels, has become one of the most famous violinists of the Franco-Belgian school. ! Noe Inui, who has felt a fateful connection with Ysaye since he was trained in Belgium in the performance techniques of Ysaye's lineage, and since they share the same birthday of July 16th, has recorded his magnum opus "6 Solo Violin Sonatas" in 2018, the 160th anniversary of the birth of Ysaye! In preparation for this recording, Noe Chien decided to record the "Six Sonatas for Solo Violin". For this recording, Noe Inui used a special and very valuable bow (made by Eugène Nicolas Sartori), which was in the private collection of Queen Elisabeth of Belgium (1858-1931), who gave it to Isay, her violin teacher, as a Christmas present in 1929. Moreover, Noe Inui's passion for this recording of Ysaÿe is tremendous, including the use of the "Ysaÿe" E-wire, which was made based on a reel mold rediscovered in a French factory. The latter part of the program, "Etude-Poem in G minor," is one of four pieces composed between 1900 and 1901, and is the only unpublished work of its kind, making this "world premiere" recording possible thanks to the cooperation of the Royal Library of Brussels, which holds the score. Noe Inui is a violinist who carries on the tradition of the Franco-Belgian school of music, and at the same time breathes new life into this tradition. Please look forward to an outstanding Isay!
