Vintage black velvet kaftan with amazing flounce sleeves! No tags, but the fabric is a short nap heavy weight black velveteen. The dress is decorated with gold metallic soutache embroidery though out. Round neck, A line kaftan has side slits at hem. Sleeves are set in and straight to just above the elbow, than trumpet out to a circular flounce style, really spectacular! Fastens in back with gold knot buttons and loops. The dress has been altered at the bust line, crushed black velvet gussets were added for more room. The dress is fully lined, except under the arms because of the alteration.
