Nach dem zweiten Weltkrieg ließ die Deutsche Bundesbahn zwei Exemplare der V 188, später als BR 288 bezeichnet, unter Nutzung eines dritten als Ersatzteilspender herrichten und verwendete sie bis zur ihrer Ausmusterung 1971 im Güterzugdienst. (Queller: modellbau-wiki.de) Auch als Shorty in Spur Z zeigt sich das „doppelte Lottchen“ von einer schönen Seite. Das Gehäuse der V 188 in Spur Z wird von uns in handarbeit lackiert. Farbabweichungen gegenüber den Bildern sind möglich.
