In Trails of Tucana, each player receives a map showing the main villages, sights and various terrains. Each turn, two terrain cards are revealed. All players draw a route between those two areas, somewhere on their own map.

You can score points by connecting matching villages and by connecting villages with points of interest. The game ends when the deck of terrain cards is completely depleted for the second time. Whoever has the most points wins the game.

This pack also includes the Trails of Tucana: Ferry expansion. Inside you will find two new playing blocks: one with the island cards from the basic game and one with two new islands.

With the new map, players will have two new island maps for Isla Bahía and Isla Habita. On both maps, ferries help players cross stretches of sea — and on Isla Habita, three additional villages offer new challenges.
