My Dear Sir:-

Everything depends upon the way the Institute is conducted. I am becoming more and more a confirmed believer in the enlarged ministry when it is under the superintendence of deeply religious men. I can perceive nothing but good if every department is pervaded by the power of the Holy Spirit. On the other hand, if the superintendency is not profoundly spiritual I think it will tend to paralyze the vital work of the Church. No aim ought to compare for a moment with the ultimate aim of winning men for Christ, and anything which appears to conflict with this must be put down. But I do not see why these lesser ministries cannot be made to serve the greater one. With kind regards,
