Handwoven wool low pile Persian rug. Measures 6’3”x4’3”. Features a mauve-ish field and wave border. Shows a fertility and tribal evil eye motifs. This rug has pops of pink, and earth tones woven throughout. The rug is in good vintage condition.

The wave border motif is believed to symbolize various aspects of nature, such as rivers, streams, or the ocean. In Persian culture, water is often associated with life, fertility, and purification, making the wave border a symbol of vitality and renewal.
