BD Vacutainer® Serum-Röhrchen

The BD Vacutainer® serum tubes with red Hemorgard cap are provided with silica particles of highest purity as clot activator. These are inert and do not alter the sample. The silica particles are sprayed onto the inner wall of the tubes using a special method, and from there they spread efficiently and quickly into the blood, where they immediately activate clotting. The recommended clotting time until centrifugation is 30 minutes*.
