Algisite™ M Calciumalginat Wundauflage

Smith & Nephew's Algisite™ M Calcium Alginate Wound Dressing is a dressing ideal for the management of a wide range of moderately to heavily exuding wounds. Contact with wound exudate forms a soft gel that prevents sticking to the wound and absorbs excess wound exudate.

The very soft and adaptable wound dressing can be folded or cut to size. Therefore, it can be used to treat wounds of different shapes and sizes. In addition, Algisite™ M can absorb 13 times its own weight in exudate. This allows the dressing to remain on the wound for up to seven days, depending on the wound.
