For sale here is a James Reid rod that we don't see on the resale market often if at all. It's James' Salt Special H.D. 9wt spliced joint rod. Hollow-built. The rod has three sections with three tips. The first two tips were originally intended for bonefish/flats fishing and the third tip a bit sturdier/robust and slightly heavier for stripers/blues. The rod would also fit the bill for redfish, salar, steelhead, silver salmon and any really big trout application. Removable fighting butt approximately 3.5" in length. Hard anodized hardware. Walnut splice protectors. The rod remains in near mint condition, having been fished sparingly.
