For sale here is a transitional Wright & McGill / Goodwin Granger Favorite Model 8642 - 8'6 3/2 for a 5 weight line. Good overall condition. The rod could benefit from a restoration due to the varnish separating from the cane in places. All of the hardware is original. All sections are full length and without repair. The rod weighs 5 1/4 oz. Size 17/64 and 11/64 ferrules and the fit is nice and tight. Patented uplocking reel seat with the WMG stamp, although the wrap pattern is Granger-era. Comes with original tube and the original bag, albeit with a small hole in the bottom end of the butt section compartment.
