Cellacast® Xtra Longuette

The Cellacast Xtra from Lohmann-Rauscher is a high-quality, air-permeable rigid cast bandage. It is particularly suitable for immobilisation following fractures, surgery or orthpaedic corrections as well as for the treatment of joint and bone conditions. Thanks to its fibreglass-reinforced fabric, the plaster bandage exhibits high stability.

Cellacast Xtra Longuette can be used to reinforce circular casts. The casting tape has excellent lamination properties and can be moulded to any body contour and is also permeable to X-rays. The tape is available in a range of sizes and is individually sealed.

Notes

• Gloves must be worn during application
• Can be cut as long as product isn't dried out
• Setting time is 2.5 - 5 minutes after activation with water
• Can withstand weight-bearing after 30 minutes
• Recommended dip water  temperature is 20 - 24 °C
