A rather rare little work with no copies on the market; in the present, in a series of talks with the young, the author attempts to establish both philosophical and theological foundations for ideas like the existence of God, God's omnipresence, God's goodness in spite of present suffering, etc.,

Under the same "Mr. Myrtle" talks, there exists also a volume on the Trustworthiness of Scripture and on the Saving Work of Christ. The present appears to be the rarest. 

Also, an unusual 1865 Kentucky imprint.
