Tegaderm I.V. Port Dressing

The Tegaderm I.V. Port Dressing from 3M is a specialised sterile dressing to secure port catheters. Thanks to the transparent polyurethane film, the injection site and the surrounding skin can constantly be monitored and checked for inflammations. To prevent the port catheter from moving or being pulled out of the skin during dressing changes, the central space is adhesive-free.

The Tegaderm Port dressing is also available with a CHG gel pad. The gel pad with chlorhexidine gluconate has a permanent antimicrobial effect and reliably protects the injection site from colonisations.
