A "Do-it-yourself" kit based on a ø77 mm carbon spinnaker pole section with Seldéns composite 534-854 series end fitting with trip trigger as outboard end and the aluminium 534-778 series as in board end. With Trip trigger you open the end fitting with a control line and the sheet locks it automatically. This makes life easier for the foredeck crew.

The pole is intended for dip gybing with Seldén's bayonet car / slider. Lift and down haul can be fitted to the outboard end.

A carbon spinnaker pole is a popular upgrade for both cruising and racing sailors as they are up to 40% lighter than an aluminium equivalent. This makes them much easier to handle during hoists, gybes and drops, as well as reducing line loads on the topping lift. 

The carbon section is made at our UK plant with a production method we call Mandrel Filament Moulding (MFM). The process is fully automated and CNC controlled for ultimate accuracy, repeatability and quality of the laminate.
