Askina® Calgitrol® Silver Alginate Paste

B.Braun's Askina® Calgitrol® silver alginate wound paste has high conformability which allows a close contact between the active ionic silver alginate matrix and the wound bed, reducing the risk of bacterial proliferation. The silver alginate guarantees a sustained release of silver ions and has a broad antimicrobial effectiveness. In addition, it creates an ideal moist wound environment which promotes wound healing.

The homogeneous silver alginate matrix wound contact layer is optionally available in packs of 5 or 10 and is supplied ready to use.
