The Father of Invention - Signed Stock Certificate

Offered here is a gorgeous autograph display featuring a signed stock certificate by Thomas Edison in 1923. The innovative genius's contributions are still used today, but most people don't know that Edison was working on battery powered electric cars in the early part of the 20th century. While his good friend and former engineer, Henry Ford, was perfecting the gas powered engine, Edison was working on making electric vehicles the primary source of transportation.

This original Edison Primary Batteries, Incorporated stock certificate features Edison's iconic signature in the bottom right corner, and gives us a great look into American innovation over the last 100 years. While gas powered engines may have prevailed in the 1920's as Edison worked tirelessly on other inventions, today the electric vehicle industry is booming and Edison was certainly at the forefront!
