For sale here is a 2007 Limited Edition Orvis Mitey Mite bamboo rod. 5 feet in length for a 5 weight line. The rod weighs a mere 2.2 oz. The rod is in near mint condition with with original bag and leather tube. There are a couple of very minor handling marks on the hardware. The leather tube also has some very minor blemishes. Beautiful hand-engraving on the nickel silver hardware. All sections are full-length and straight. Ferrule fit is perfect. Ferrule size 12/64. 100% bluing remains on the ferrules and tip tops. Serial number 90392. Orvis' first run of 49 rods (numbered "X of 49") of this limited edition Mitey Mite rod was priced at $3500 each and sold out within two weeks. They then decided to make more due to the high initial demand and this is one from that batch, which were all serial numbered.
