BD Safety-Lok™ Blood Collection Set

The latex- and DEHP-free BD Safety-Lok™ blood collection set has been specially designed for short-term infusion of up to 2 hours or for venous blood sampling. Perfected grinding technology and a patented coating allow for a sharp needle tip and optimal tissue penetration, guaranteeing low-pain puncture even in difficult vein conditions.

In addition, the device has an integrated safety shield which locks over the needle irreversibly when activated by the user to reduce the risk of an accidental needle stick injury. The Safety-Lok™ system can be activated using a single hand, providing exceptional ease of use. On successful activation an audible click is heard. The two elastic wings on the blood collection set provide a good grip and thus a high level of safety during puncture.
