ALLEVYN™ Life Heel

ALLEVYN™ Life Heel foam dressing by Smith & Nephew is an anatomically shaped wound dressing that is particularly suitable for the treatment of exuding wounds, for example on the heel. It has a unique design and is the only heel bandage that covers the malleolus without the need for secondary retention. The Life Heel foam dressing is ideal for wounds with moderate to heavy exudation and is also sterile and showerproof.

Its foam core absorbs excess exudate so that no moist chambers can form and thus supports faster healing. The wide adhesive rim offers the patient a secure and gentle hold without the dressing slipping back and forth. No additional fixation is needed. The gently adhering, perforated silicone gel wound contact layer guarantees a low-pain and atraumatic dressing change.
