Surshield Versatus-WP

The Surshield Versatus-WP is a safety IV catheter from Terumo, which is equipped with an automatic safety mechanism, that does not need changes in user habits. When the needle is pulled out of the vein, the needle tip is automatically secured with a protective shield to prevent the user from being injured.

Both the needle and the catheter have a thin silicone coating, which in combination with the special needle cut, ensures gentle and pain-free injections.
