BACTIGRAS™ Impregnated Dressing

BACTIGRAS™ is an antiseptic, paraffin gauze dressing from Smith & Nephew. The dressing acts as a barrier between the wound and a secondary dressing. Due to its broad antiseptic effect, it is mainly used for e.g. infected wounds, minor burns or abrasions.

The open weave gauze allows exudate to drain into an absorbent secondary dressing and air to pass through. The non-fray properties of the special weave prevent fraying when cutting the dressing.
