NovoPen Echo® Plus

The NovoPen Echo® Plus from Novo Nordisk is a user-friendly, smart insulin pen designed for self-injection to support seamless diabetes management. The pen has a dose memory function and automatically stores all relevant insulin dosage data, including time, date and the number of units administered. The pen documents the injection history of the last three months, enabling comprehensive tracking of insulin doses. The display allows users to view the injected units and the time of the last injection at any time.

The NovoPen Echo® Plus features a precise dose display and marker and is designed specifically for use with 3 ml Penfill insulin cartridges from Novo Nordisk. Thanks to compatibility with various diabetes apps, users can view insulin dosing and glucose data in the app, allowing them to analyze injection habits and how they affect blood glucose levels. Data transfer is quick and simple via Near Field Communication (NFC), supporting collaboration with healthcare professionals.

The pen is compatible with hygienic disposable needles and with Novofine series needles up to 8 mm in length. The Luer-lock connection ensures secure needle attachment, providing additional safety during use.

• Download a compatible NovoPen Echo® Plus app and pair it with your pen according to the full instructions.
• Use your pen as usual.
• Transfer your injection history from your pen to your device. With Glooko® and mySugr®, data can also be shared with your doctor at the clinic.
• View your insulin dosing information in the compatible app on your device. You can also bring your pen to your next clinic visit to review dosing information with your doctor.

Personal Injection Record

The pen’s display includes an integrated memory function that supports Near Field Communication (NFC). With an NFC-enabled device like a smartphone, tablet, PC or glucose meter, you can transfer your injection history directly from the pen and create a personal injection record. Ensure the device has a compatible app or software that can read and display your injection data. To transfer, simply hold the pen’s active display against the NFC area of the target device and wait briefly for the details of your last injection to transfer.
