Martin streamlined the process of producing an upholstered chair by reducing it to only four moulded panels, resulting in a distinct sculptural aesthetic that stands out in any environment.

Consisting of four panels, the Crown Easy Chair is cleverly constructed with a playful element that sets it apart from other chairs. The backrests appear to float above the armrests due to a concealed steel joint, which gives the chair an open-back design. The sturdy construction of the chair gives the impression that the backrests are unsupported, but in reality, they rely on a strong steel joint for support.
