An eclectic assemblage of three rather rare 19th century theological and devotional works bound as one. Each unusual on the market in their own right, but we didn't have the heart to break up the binding.

Interacts with Jonathan Edwards, etc., in the heat of the "decision" controversy surrounding Second Great Awakening preachers who trended toward a freedom of the will perspective, i.e. C. G. Finney, Burchard, etc. Moderately foxed throughout.

Nott of course one of the founders of the ABCFM and one of those on the original trip with Adoniram Judson to Burmah. Moderately foxed throughout.

Wroe, John. A Guide to the People Surnamed Israelites, to Preach the Everlasting Gospel, in a Number of Sermons Selected from the Scriptures. Boston. J. N. Bradley. Mail Steam Printing Establishment. 1848. 80pp. 

Very scarce volume of sermons by the founder of the Christian Israelites who had been struck blind and received revelations from God for six straight days, leading his becoming an evangelist  and prophet, called to set up a physical city of Jerusalem in England. Works by him are exceptionally rare on the market. 

All bound in a half leather binding, rubbed, but solid and attractive.
