An EF Payne model 200 fly rod, 8', 3-piece, 2-tip, built for what feels to me like a #5 line or perhaps even a #4. Medium semi full-flexing action. Refinished condition. Light chestnut colored cane with an agate stripper and bronze snake guides. Wrapped brown with yellow edges and a band of maroon at the keeper and male ferrules. One tip has been wrapped in a brown that has perhaps a touch less red shade to it but is so close to the original that it's almost an identical match. The ferrule fits are excellent and the upper ferrule is a #9 and the butt/mid a #15. The grip is a 6" long western style and has been cleaned. The spacer is walnut with an uplocking screw lock with a hidden pocket cap under the heel. The nut is stamped "Payne in a cartouche and "Reg. U.S. Pat. Off." underneath. "Sold by, Von Lengerke & Antoinne, Chicago" is stamped on the reverse. Comes in an original bag with hang tag and brass cap tube with the Payne sticker (the felt in the cap has been replaced). A very nice refinished version of this versatile Payne model.
