Wonderful little assemblage of sermons possibly preached by Rev. Archibald Crawford of the American Home Missionary Society.

The AHMS brought in young, energetic ministers, essentially church planters and revitalizers of the day, and developed a sort of circuit approach like the Methodists. They would then raise them a budget and pay them to go to multiple small rural communities in New England, the South, and following the Westward Expansion, to plant and revitalize churches. 

Information is sparce on our Archibald, though he does appear in AHMS reports slightly later than this.
