The first English editions of two important works by two pivotal mediaeval theologans and educators. Not a single example in the auction record and none on the market at any price. Very scarce.

Albertus Magnus [c.1200-1280] was an influential German Dominican Bishop, known as a theologian, astronomer, and philosopher during the middle-ages. Perhaps the most influential educator in the church during the age, he is today remembered through the name of his most significant student, Thomas of Aquinas. 

Johann von Staupitz [1460-1525] was also an influential German theologian and educator, best remembered today as the spiritual mentor and confessor of Martin Luther.
