The base jean retains the classic five-pocket Levi’s construction and signature back patch, while the new hem is trimmed with reclaimed lace sourced from vintage curtains, featuring a floral motif that gives each leg a soft, decorative finish.

These began life as Levi’s Ribcage Bell and were transformed after a small tear developed at the lower leg; the alteration turns that flaw into a deliberate, wearable redesign, making this a genuinely unique piece rather than a standard production short. Light signs of wear are consistent with the garment’s original life and the nature of upcycling.
