For sale here is a leaded, three-screw latch, 3 3/8" Hardy St. George fly reel in excellent condition. Straight line lettering from late 1940's / early 1950's reel. MKII check with both pawls engageable. Metal line guide set inside a nickel silver bezel. Unmolested ribbed brass foot. Internals and mechanics are excellent. "TA" initials for Hardy maker Thomas Appleby. Ebonite handle spins freely. The tensioner works as intended. There are some very faint initials and two straight lines scratched into the faceplate (they are not super obvious to the eye). A very classic Hardy trout reel that won't disappoint!
