An absolutely charming little half-cloth and marbled board near-miniature chapbook including two early American Tract Society imprints. The first was a standard of the time, "I am Afraid I have a Soul." It was meant for evangelistic distribution. The second recounts the sacrificial exploits of Greenlander converts persecuted by their faith after being led to Christ by Moravian missionaries. This story was an important missionary sacrificial tale intended to stir missionary generosity and volunteerism in an era when going to the field carried a significant cost and came with a high mortality rate, especially for females.
