BD Nexiva™ Diffusics™ IV Catheter System

The closed and ready-to-use BD Nexiva™ Diffusics™ IV catheter system from Becton Dickinson has been specifically designed for diagnostic imaging with contrast media. Its sophisticated design is suitable for power injection procedures up to 22.4 bar / 325 PSI. The three teardrop-shaped distribution holes located in the catheter tip ensure optimal contrast agent distribution. In addition, the diffusion tip acts to reduce the intensity of the flow exiting the catheter tip, which decreases stress on the vein wall.
