Durafiber™ Ag - Gel Forming Wound Dressing

Durafiber™ Ag from Smith & Nephew is an antimicrobial, gel-forming fibre dressing with silver that is ideal for the treatment of infected as well as exuding wounds. Depending on the injury, the dressing can remain on the wound for up to 7 days and has an antimicrobial effect against a broad spectrum of pathogenic germs as well as aerobic and anaerobic bacteria including antibiotic-resistant germs such as MRSA and VRE, yeasts and thread fungi. Thanks to the mixture of cellulose and pulp fibres, atraumatic and complete removal is possible in one piece.
