A superbly preserved and very scarce group of six important cabinet card photographs related to the Plymouth Brethren. Each of these quite rare in its own right and the assembled photograph of 59 Plymouth Brethren leaders is exceptionally scarce.

The grouping includes:

John Nelson Darby [1800-1882]. One of the most influential of the Plymouth Brethren, and considered a founder of premillennial dispensationalism.

George Cutting [1843-1934].

C. H. Mackintosh [1820-1896]. Mackintosh was one of the Brethren most popular outside their own circles. He was an active preacher during the 1859 revival and his works on the Pentateuch were highly valued, including by Spurgeon, who called them ". . . precious and edifying reflections . . ." They remain popular to this day.

George V. Wigram [1805-1879]. From a prominent Anglican family, Wigram was one of the true scholars of the Brethren movement.

J. G. Bellett [1795-1864]. Another of the very earliest leaders, along with Darby, and an influential figure in the development of the Plymouth Brethren, the typological framework of their movement, and of course their premillennial dispensationalism.

Pastiche of 59 Plymouth Brethren. Includes F. E. Raven, C. H. Mackintosh, G. V. Wigram, William Kelly, George Cutting, J. B. Stoney, Arthur Pollock, M. Saaed, etc. etc. Accompanied by a later photographic copy of the "key" to the photo, identifying each sitter.

All nearly as new, when issued save the group pastiche which has a minor stain in the lower margin.
