For sale here is a Hardy St. George 3 3/8 inch fly reel with an unblemished red agate line guide and three-screw latch from the 1930's. A fair amount of the original leaded finish remains. Very good condition throughout. Smooth brass foot and duplicated MKII check with the spare spring missing (who ever needs it anyway?). The reel has some minor end play. Wonderful condition ebonite handle spins freely. Large arbor spool. Tension regulator works as intended. Nice strong check throughout its range.
