Very nice volume of the collected works of Christian Philosopher, Thomas Dick [1774-1857]. He was one of the most significant of the 19th century, consistently attempting to harmonize and mutually expand the sciences, particularly astronomy, philosophy, and Christian theology.

He was an original and innovative thinker, positing among other things, that all of the planets in our universe were inhabited. He calculated that the known planets contained around 21 trillion inhabitants.
