Very nice pocket New Testament issued by the American Bible Society specifically to fit into the pocket of Union Soldiers' uniform. This copy that of Sergeant John A. Griffin of Company F. 63rd Regiment, mustered out of Harrisburg and based at Camp Curtin. The Company was prominent at Gettysburg under General Sickles.
Signed three times, and twice with Griffin's personal stamp.
