ALLEVYN™ Gentle Border

ALLEVYN™ Gentle Border from Smith & Nephew is a highly absorbent and gently adherent wound dressing ideal for the management of moderately to heavily exuding wounds. The flat silicone gel coating provides gentle hold and atraumatic dressing change, minimizing pain for the patient. In addition, the wound dressing is designed to absorb excess wound exudate in moist wounds and provide moisture to dry wounds.

The result is the creation of a wound environment that allows progressive wound healing without frequent dressing changes. Thanks to the full-surface silicone coating, the dressing is also suitable for sensitive skin and provides secure hold. Due to the bacteria- and waterproof and at the same time breathable outer foil, daily showering is not restricted.
