Crabtree 17VMTPNSA Powerstar 3P Surge Arrester Kit – Type 2

The Crabtree 17VMTPNSA Powerstar Type 2 Surge Arrester Kit provides reliable surge protection for Powerstar VM160 panel boards. Designed to protect electrical systems from transient overvoltages, this kit helps safeguard sensitive equipment and maintain system reliability in commercial and industrial installations.

The kit includes a Type 2 surge protection device (SPD) together with a Crabtree 7PBV MCCB for dedicated SPD protection. A cable loom kit and SPD mounting bracket are also supplied, ensuring simple integration into the Powerstar VM160 distribution system.

The SPD is designed to fit into the dedicated knock-out slot within the panel board, while the MCCB utilises the bottom right-hand way for connection. The kit is fully 18th Edition compliant and suitable for installations operating at a nominal voltage of 240/415V AC.
