We love the crafstmanship of this bit. The design features a three pieces including a copper quarter moon link. The quarter moon link provides extra room for the horse's tongue which provides additional comfort for sensitive horses.

The pelham cheek piece offers the rider additional leverage and control. The copper quarter moon encourages salivation and encourages the horse to accept the bit. The double-jointed mouthpiece avoids the nutcracker action of a single joint, preventing the bit from hitting the roof of the mouth and gives the rider independent control over each side of the mouth.
